It’s okay to not be okay. I’m here to meet you where you are and work together to get you where you want to be. I offer a warm, safe, accepting environment where you can grow to be your very best self. I love being a therapist. I'm passionate about mental health and love to help people become happier, healthier, and more connected.

Over and over, I’ve seen the power of therapy to transform lives. I believe that by treating my clients with the greatest compassion and understanding, I model for them a better way to treat themselves. I show them what it feels like to be accepted for the things they thought were unacceptable.

I offer person-centered and positive psychology as well as EMDR and other evidence-based practices. I like to keep sessions flexible - if you’re here to learn skills, we’ll do that; if you need someone to talk to, we’ll do that. But most of the time, we’ll do both.

My areas of special interest are anxiety, depression, trauma, self-compassion, parenting, habit change, attachment, narcissism, substance use, and relationships. Contact me today to get started.

The very cornerstone of my therapy is that I will always see the best in you. I fully believe that everyone is doing the best they can, given their circumstances, their background, their biology, how much sleep they got the night before - all of it. It's very nonjudgemental space.

The hope is then that you'll internalize these warm feelings towards yourself. I've had clients talk about their "Inner Meghan" and I love this idea. I want all of my clients to have a cheerleader on their shoulder that sees the best in them and knows they can do great things.

My job is also to work with you to help you make the best you can do that much better.

We do this through:

  • Positive Psychology - Looking at what makes people happy and adding more of that into your life

  • Self-Compassion - Helping you learn to relate to yourself in a kind, caring way

  • Problem-Solving - Figuring out what keeps you stuck and developing strategies that make it easier to get out

  • Dismantling Triggers - Understanding what's happening for you when you lose yourself in negative emotions so that you have more control over how you respond to all the things life throws at you

  • Habit Change - Getting you moving in the direction you want by setting you up for success
